During the 2024 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in New Orleans, Louisiana, Loba Wakol gave away two custom versions of the WAKOL Applicator 90. The first, following this year’s Expo theme, featured a New Orleans wrap in purple, gold, and green, and was given to NWFA to be used for trainings at the association’s headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.
The second Applicator 90 was designed with the Gary Sinise Foundation logo and was raffled off during Expo. More than 90 raffle tickets were purchased and Loba Wakol donated all of the proceeds directly to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
Rich and Bobbi Olson of Just Around the Corner Inc. were the lucky winners of the WAKOL Applicator 90. The Olsons also are the proud parents of two veterans. The Loba Wakol team said they appreciate everyone who visited their booth this year and purchased a raffle ticket for this great cause.
The Gary Sinise Foundation provides severely wounded veterans and first responders with the resources necessary to overcome their new life challenges. NWFA supports the Gary Sinise Foundation by providing wood flooring and installation services for custom-build Smart Homes through the GSF RISE (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program.
