Somerset Hardwood Flooring, a Bauwerk Group company, is announcing the relocation of its engineered hardwood flooring production to the Somerset, Kentucky location. According to Somerset Hardwood Flooring, this relocation will add between 20 and 50 new jobs, supporting the local economy. As a result of this relocation, the plant in Crossville, Tennessee will be closed by the end of the 1st quarter of 2024.
The company says it anticipates minimal impact to service related to this consolidation. They added that this change will allow for all manufacturing to be on one physical site, increasing efficiencies, quality, and carving the pathway for future growth and investment.
Bauwerk Group owns the brands of Bauwerk Parkett, Boen, and Somerset Hardwood Flooring.
