I started my hardwood flooring business, Showcase Wood Floors, with my best friend and business partner, David Abrahams, 24 years ago. Upon being invited to attend the Lägler Fly & Sand event in Germany, I had the opportunity to meet NWFA staff members and NWFA Regional Instructor, Jason Elquest, and decided to join the NWFA.
The Fly & Sand was a once in a lifetime educational experience that opened my eyes and made me want to further my education in hardwood flooring. After the trip, I was encouraged to take the Sand & Finish courses online through NWFA University, and I’m so glad I did! I’m very proud to have my Sand & Finish Certification under my belt.
After many years in the industry, I felt like I needed to stimulate my brain more. There’s always more to learn, even being in the business for 24 years. There are so many things that I’ve learned from taking the courses online.
Our primary objective now is to follow and adhere to the proper guidelines, set forth by the NWFA, to attend hands-on training events, and to continue taking courses online through NWFA University. With the help of the NWFA, Lägler PST, and the Loba-Wakol certification program, we can offer our clients the best possible product and services.
For us, success is being passionate about what you do. We are very fortunate to do what we love, day in and day out.
