The Georgia-based floor coverings retailer Floor & Decor has opened a location in Paramus, expanding its foothold in New Jersey with its third flooring superstore.
The 60,179 square foot store, located in a former Sports Authority building at 50 A&S Drive, just west of Paramus Park mall, opened last week, two years after Floor & Decor opened its first New Jersey store, in Wayne.
Floor & Decor has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2000, opening more than 50 stores in the first 15 years in business. The company went public in April and trades on the New York Stock Exchange as FND.
The Paramus store will have about 40 employees, led by Jake Jimenez, the store’s chief executive merchant.
“We look forward to forming relationships with this great community, one shopper at a time,” Jimenez said.
