Horizon Forest Products announces the acquisition of the assets of Installers Warehouse, a flooring distributor located in Rochester, New York. This expansion strengthens the company’s ability to serve customers throughout the Northeast United States.
Founded in 2008, Installers Warehouse has spent more than 18 years serving flooring professionals throughout Central and Western New York. By acquiring the company’s assets, Horizon Forest Products is building upon the strong foundation established by owner Craig Dupra and his team while bringing expanded resources, inventory, and service capabilities to the region.
Effective June 1, 2026, Wikus Nel will lead the Rochester operation. With his leadership and industry expertise, Horizon Forest Products is confident the branch will become an important resource for flooring professionals across Western New York.
“This location allows us to continue expanding our presence in the Northeast and significantly improve how we serve customers throughout Western New York,” said David Williams, Vice President of Horizon Forest Products. “Customers will benefit from local inventory, a broader selection of materials, and increased delivery flexibility. We are thankful for the opportunity to step in and continue building on the foundation Craig Dupra has laid. We are excited about the future and believe our vision and commitment will have a positive impact on customers throughout the region.”
The new Rochester branch will also provide Horizon Forest Products with a stronger platform to support customers across New York State, extending service capabilities westward to Buffalo and helping the company effectively cover most of the state.
To ensure a smooth transition and successful launch, John Rendleman, Morgan Stout, Fred Timberlin, and Mike Benvenuti will work closely with Wikus and the Rochester team during the integration process.
