Floor Source is seeking a highly motivated, experienced floor covering salesperson!
We’re looking for a territory sales manager who will be responsible for growing the retail store base and key account base within the assigned area (TN and AL). This assigned region will include the areas in and between Brentwood, TN to Birmingham, AL. This position is on the road, requires 100% travel, and is not based on site. The emphasis will be on sales volume and acquiring new customers. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with retail store personnel, ensuring successful execution of product launches, and manage displays, samples, and selling tools.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and acquire new stores within your assigned territory, using various sales tactics and strategies
• Manage and grow key accounts
• Build and maintain strong distribution and store level relationships, providing excellent service and support
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the management team
• Continuously monitor and adapt to market trends and competitive activity within your territory
• Collaborate with home office team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction
• Ensure flawless execution of new product launches and promotions
• Attend industry events and stay updated on industry trends
• Maintain a deep understanding of Floor Source products and offerings
Qualifications:
• Floor covering sales experience preferred
• Thorough understanding of the floor covering industry
• Knowledge of sales management within the retail channel
• Ability to develop new leads by cold calling and making appointments
• Ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts
• 100% travel required
