City Floor Supply Hosts NWFA Advanced Installation Course

City Floor Supply (CFS) announced the successful completion of a 2023 National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Advanced Installation Course. The event took place at the CFS headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

The NWFA Advanced Installation Course, held from April 11th to 14th, was one of two such courses offered by the NWFA this year. Led by NWFA Regional Instructor Steve Seabaugh, the four-day course attracted industry professionals from across the U.S. and Canada looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in hardwood floor installation.

The intensive hands-on workshop delved into the design and execution of intricate inlays, borders, and medallions using various techniques such as precise, repetitive cutting and wood bending.

Participants were encouraged to collaborate and share their expertise throughout the course, creating a unique learning experience for all attendees. The resulting wood panel features various advanced designs including borders, bent wood, shadow box parquetry, and a medallion as the centerpiece.

SawStop and ShaperTools sales reps provided product demonstrations on the first day of the course. Loba-Wakol rep James Toal was on-site throughout the course to assist with instruction.
