The Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) and the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA) have teamed up to co-host a convention and expo.
The convention, open to all floorcovering professionals, including installation professionals, commercial flooring contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and consultants, will take place at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, September 20-22, 2023.
The two organizations have come together to combine their separate fall conventions into a singular event. CFI traditionally holds its annual convention and expo in August every year. The FCICA holds two meetings each year, a convention in the spring and a mid-year meeting in the fall.
The three-day event will feature general sessions, speakers, breakout sessions and training, product demonstrations, an exhibit hall, and networking opportunities. In addition to educational seminars and workshops, there will be a golf tournament at the Shingle Creek Golf Club.
“We’ve been working closely together for many years, advocating for the same issues and attending each other’s conferences,” said John McHale, director of operations of CFI. “Through our combined efforts, we can offer a unique convention experience that will bring tremendous value and opportunity to our members and exhibitors. As a result, they can explore additional products, services, trends, and opportunities to grow their businesses and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.”
