EJ Welch Company, a division of Center Rock Capital Partners’ Merit Distribution Group based in St. Louis, Missouri, is expanding its leadership team. The company is hiring and promoting a wide range of professionals with experience in commercial and residential flooring, and installation products.

Diane Drake, who joined in a newly created position as vice president of commercial solutions, comes to EJ Welch with more than two decades of experience in the commercial flooring industry. She brings years of expertise in flooring sales management, new business development, project management, and strategic planning. Her previous roles include vice president strategic accounts-healthcare with Tarkett and prior experience at Masland Contract and Tandus Centiva.
Chris Vaughn was hired initially as an account manager in Oklahoma in 2019. He has been promoted to senior director of sales and operations over Oklahoma and Colorado. Chris offers a wealth of experience in account management and business development. He previously worked with Bryan’s Flooring, American Marazzi Tile, Mohawk Industries, and Daltile Corporation.
Brad Scott, another flooring veteran with three decades of experience, has joined as an account director leading the Mid-Central Region, specifically Northern Illinois, Eastern Wisconsin, Eastern Iowa, and Michigan. He brings to EJ Welch an abundance of knowledge and experience in all categories of flooring, as well as experience in market penetration in different business sectors. Brad was previously with All Tile/CCS in sales management.
Jeff Eichler has a long tenure in the flooring industry before joining EJ Welch, also as an account director overseeing the Mid-South Region, which includes Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Central Tennessee. His experience includes positions with Custom Floors & Custom Stone, Shaw Industries, and Anderson Tuftex.
Two recent internal promotions were Maria Padron, director of data management, and Chad Robertson, appointed as director of logistics.
