City Floor Supply Partners With NWFA to Host Intermediate Sand and Finish Training

City Floor Supply recently partnered with the National Wood Floor Association (NWFA) to offer Intermediate Sand and Finish Training to hardwood flooring contractors. The hardwood flooring distributor held the training workshop at their North American headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

NWFA Board Member and Regional Instructor, Lenny Hall, led the three-day hands-on Intermediate Sand and Finish Training workshop. Attendees sharpened their skills and learned how to properly sand various species, repair and recoat existing floors, and select finishing techniques that yield top quality results. Complicated sand and finish methods such as the art of flattening a floor, minimizing scratch patterns, and sanding multi-directional flooring were also covered ā€“ see video highlights.

ā€œIt was great to once again partner with the National Wood Floor Association. The NWFA provides top quality educational programs, and the Intermediate Sand and Finish Training was no exception. The students were truly engaged and they all did an excellent job! Now they can take what learned and apply it in the real world and sell their services more effectively,” says Mike Glavin, founder of City Floor Supply.

The NWFA conducts training sessions throughout the year at various locations throughout the country. For more information on upcoming training events visit the NWFAā€™s website.
