Mullican Hardwood Flooring has released three new series of Castillian engineered hardwood flooring products inspired by the old growth forests of Europe. According to the company, the three new series, called Castillian Cottage, Castillian Estate, and Castillian Premier, are a modern take on the classic beauty of the hardwood floors found in castles, cottages, and manors across the European continent.
“We’ve been developing the Castillian product line for a while now as we wanted to complement our existing line of American hardwood flooring options with the unique style and look of the highly sought after European white oak,” says Pat Oakley, vice president of sales and marketing at Mullican. “This addition helps us provide even more design solutions for architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners who want a stylish contemporary flooring option to match their space.”
The three new Castillian series floors are available in three different widths, ten colors, and all include a wire-brushed aluminum oxide finish with a 50-year finish warranty.
Castillian Cottage Series
- 6.5-inch widths and random board lengths up to 5.5 feet
- 7/16-inch thick, 7-ply construction
- 1.5 mm veneer thickness
- Three colors: Alabaster, Blakemore, and North Short
Castillian Estate Series
- 7.5-inch widths and random board lengths up to 7 feet
- 9/16-inch thick, 8-ply construction
- 3 mm veneer thickness
- Three colors: Tranquility, Hardwick, and Oldtown
Castillian Premier Series
- 9.44-inch widths and random board lengths up to 7 feet
- 5/8-inch thick, 8-ply construction
- 4 mm veneer thickness
- Four colors: Coastal Fog, Monroe Bisque, Brindille, and Offshore Mist
