Federal, state and local officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony in late November at the AHF Products Beverly, WV, hardwood plant to honor the new 85,000-square foot expansion of the manufacturing facility in Randolph County. The Beverly-based plant, formerly owned by Armstrong Flooring, is the largest pre-finished solid hardwood flooring plant in the country.
“We’re very excited about the expansion,” AHF Plant Manager Blaine Emery said. “This is a great development for AHF Products because it allows us to grow our capabilities at this plant and continue to be a major contributor to the economy of this region.”
Nice to see that the company I spent nearly my whole working life with is expanding. Wonder how or if that relates, somehow, to the sale of plants by both Mohawk and Shaw. Time will tell.
That is just great… finally…expansion.
