Hannover Fairs USA, the organizer of DOMOTEX USA, announced that it is hosting an opening night reception on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the show floor. The reception is free of charge for all exhibitors and attendees and will feature multiple pop-up bars across the floor, including complimentary food, beer and wine. The opening night reception is sponsored by The Dixie Group, Anderson Tuftex and COREtec.
During the reception, Hannover Fairs USA will present a $10,000 donation to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) to further the 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization’s outreach to floor covering industry workers when they are battling life-altering and catastrophic medical conditions.
Charlie Dilks, FCIF’s board chairman, who will accept the gift at the reception, shared, “We are extremely grateful to DOMOTEX for partnering with FCIF and for their commitment to give back to the backbone of the floor covering industry – our workforce. The Foundation provides direct financial assistance grants to get families back on their feet when fighting obstacles such as late stage cancer, devastating injuries, and severe disabilities.”
“We encourage all of our exhibitors and attendees to join in the fun on the opening night of DOMOTEX USA 2019,” said Donna Busse, show director of DOMOTEX USA at Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA). “The opening night reception gives everyone a chance to network and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere following the first day of our inaugural show,” she added.
