2019 Bona Certified Craftsman Convention Kicks Off Next Week in Charlotte

Bona US is hosting its fourth Bona Certified Craftsman Convention February 6-8, 2019. The convention brings together wood flooring professionals from across the globe and for the first time will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“We’re looking forward to hosting our largest Bona Certified Craftsman Convention yet,” said Matt Casey, BCCP Manager, Bona US. “This year will bring some fresh new ideas, dynamic conversations and an opportunity for BCC’s to network with other industry professionals. Our ultimate goal is to help these professionals thrive and make the hardwood floor renovation process easy for homeowners.”

This year’s convention will offer professional seminars and technical workshops as well as a hardwood flooring industry trade show. As a new feature, attendees can also attend round table discussions that will allow for more participation and engagement. Additionally, keynote speaker Ken Schmidt, the former director of communications strategy at Harley-Davidson, will discuss how business owners can accelerate success.

To celebrate Bona’s 100-year anniversary, the event will offer Bona’s house coffee blend as a special gift. The coffee commemorates Bona founder, Wilhelm Edner’s roots as a grocer (where coffee was his favorite product) before he entered the hardwood flooring industry.

“As we celebrate Bona’s 100-year anniversary, we also celebrate 100 years of offering innovative products and systems to create beautiful, durable hardwood floors. The Bona Certified Craftsman Convention empowers craftsman to expand their skill sets and learn about new trends, so they can continue to deliver outstanding services,” continued Casey.
