Horizon Forest Products is celebrating their 25-Year Anniversary. In 1992, Horizon opened their doors with just eight employees in a 20,000 square foot facility near the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. They currently employ over 120 employees in 11 branch locations across five states.
“We have truly been blessed,” said David Williams, Vice President at Horizon Forest Products. “We have a wonderful company, with branches and great people in five states. We have come a long way from that little warehouse at the airport.”
In 2005, Horizon launched its own private label line of hardwood flooring. The Impressions Harwood Collection currently includes 17 product lines. Horizon Forest Products is a top distributor of flooring products for flooring contractors and retail floor covering dealers in the Southeast and Texas carrying over 4,000 SKUs.
The success of the company is a direct result of the company’s growth strategy, which involves entering new markets, developing new products, enhancing customer experience, and streamlining processes. This growth would not have been possible without a dedicated team of employees. “I would like to thank all of our wonderful employees that help make this possible,” said Williams.
