If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past few years, it’s that you can never stop learning. Especially in the hardwood flooring industry, there’s always something new to learn. For me, NWFA University is the tool to help me do just that. I love every bit of what I do as a contractor, and with the help and education from the NWFA, I’m better prepared for what every job brings.
Since becoming an NWFA Certified Professional and displaying my digital credentials on my website, sjhardwoods.com, I have noticed an increase in business. I get a lot of work through being part of the NWFA. Most conversations with customers start with, “I found your name through the NWFA website,” or “I noticed all of the digital badges on your website and want to hire you.” There is never a question of cost; customers want someone they can trust to take the right steps and ensure a quality job.
I love that I am able to continue my education at any time in the day or night with NWFA University. Having these resources available has been a very valuable tool for my business. The more you learn, the better off you’ll be, and you can charge accordingly when you have more to offer. For $100 a year, it’s really a no brainer. NWFAU allows me to develop my hardwood knowledge and skill set, and pass that on to others. It’s such a cool thing.
