HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) issued guidance in February on setting new dust lead action levels and clearance levels for recipients of their Lead Hazard Control (LHC) grants.
The guidance sets an action level of 10 ug/ft2 for floors. The same level will serve as clearance level. In addition, the guidance sets a clearance level of 40 ug/ft2 for porch floors.
