The European parquet sector gathered in Stockholm for the European Parquet Federation (FEP)’s Annual General Meeting on June 12-13. About 100 participants attended the European Parquet Congress, which featured various presentations on topics such as anti-dumping and Wood4Real initiatives, the global wood flooring market situation, as well as about wood markets, innovation, and trends. John Forbes of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) presented about the Engineered Wood Flooring Refinishable Program.
This session was preceded by the FEP General Assembly during which Wojciech Michałowski, CEO of Barlinek SA, and Josef Stoppacher, CEO of Weitzer Group, were elected to the FEP Board of Directors. Karl Scheucher resigned after years of services.
The event offered numerous opportunities for networking. FEP thanks its sponsors, Paged Plywood, UPM Plywood, Bona, and Deutsche Messe/Domotex for their support of the event.
The 70th FEP General Assembly and 50th European Parquet Congress will take place June 11-12, 2026 in Madrid, Spain.
