Jim Schumacher has been named district sales manager for Mirka USA. In this role, he will manage a portfolio of key accounts within the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania metro areas.
“I look forward to developing new business opportunities, and expanding Mirka’s market share, including Mirka Abrasive sanding systems,” says Schumacher.
Schumacher has long been a fixture in the wood flooring industry. He is an NWFA Certified Installation Professional and Certified Sand & Finish Professional, has served on the NWFA’s Board of Directors, NWFA Certified Professionals Board, NWFA Education & Research Foundation Board, and various committees.
Mirka USA is a manufacturer of coated, non-woven, and specialty abrasives for the wood market. The company offers a complete range of abrasives, supplementary products, and sanding systems. Mirka is based in Finland with facilities in Twinsburg, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana.
