Tommy and Mandy Sancic started Olde Wood Limited® in 1997 with a team of three. Since that time, it has grown into one of the largest wide plank flooring and reclaimed building materials manufacturing facilities in the nation, expanding its product lines and continuously growing along the way. The company is proud to manufacture its wide plank flooring and other products at its facility in Stark County, Ohio, using a combination of both traditional milling methods and cutting-edge technology.
Olde Wood Limited’s commitment to the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) runs deep. They are active participants in the NWFA Expo, both as exhibitors and with Tommy Sancic providing insights as part of expert panels. The company is a longtime publishing partner with Hardwood Floors magazine and regularly provides content to share their knowledge with readers. HOW DID THE COMPANY BEGIN?

What began as a company supplying raw lumber to producers has evolved into one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of luxury wide plank flooring. Today, we offer meticulously color-sorted and graded long-length domestic species, including white oak, walnut, maple, and hickory, with an impressive inventory of almost 3 million board feet. Our commitment to quality extends beyond sourcing premium materials – we manufacture our own engineered plywood core and utilize our in-house advanced automated prefinished line to ensure precision and consistency. Every day, we push the boundaries of quality and efficiency, setting new standards in the industry while staying true to our passion for exceptional craftsmanship.

We were thrilled to announce the launch of our White Oak Super Prime products recently, a development that has been in the works for quite some time. Behind the scenes, our team has been meticulously refining the specifications, grading, and processes to bring this premium offering to life. White oak is already one of the most sought-after hardwoods in the industry, but achieving the level of color consistency and clarity required for Super Prime takes an exceptional level of dedication and expertise.

It requires not only an unwavering commitment to quality but also a deep understanding of the wood itself.
