FCIF Gala Raises $300,000 to Support Industry Workers

On October 5, 2024, the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) held its gala at Gotham Hall, where guests had an evening of celebration and philanthropy. Charlie Dilks, FCIF’s board chair shared, “This year’s event raised $300,000 in support the charity’s work helping floor covering industry employees and their families when facing catastrophic illnesses, injuries, and disabilities.”

The gala featured a cocktail reception, speeches, dinner, and dancing, raising vital funds to support the FCIF’s mission of assisting individuals in the floor covering industry facing financial hardships. Founded in 1981 by industry leaders, the 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit helps those who have worked in the floor covering industry by providing direct grants for medical care and other basic needs. The FCIF would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to this remarkable evening, helping to strengthen the flooring industry’s legacy as ‘people first’ while also providing vital support to industry associates with critical medical needs.
