Bona Hosting Certified Craftsman Convention This Week

Bona will host its sixth Bona Certified Craftsman Convention bringing together wood flooring professionals from across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Europe. The event will take place October 2-4, 2024, at The Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Bona Certified Craftsman Convention offers professional seminars, technical workshops and a hardwood flooring industry trade show. Attendees can attend round table discussions on a range of topics from generating new revenue streams to growing their brand to using technology to improve business.

ā€œSince its inception in 2010, the Bona Certified Craftsman Program (BCCP) has helped fuel connections between contractors and clients while also forging prosperous relationships amongst the craftsmen themselves,ā€ said Matt Casey, director of professional marketing and the BCCP, Bona US. ā€œParticularly in this somewhat uncertain marketplace, the value of continued education and networking with high quality hardwood flooring professionals is unparalleled. The 2024 BCCP Convention will continue the tradition.ā€

At this yearā€™s event, racing legend Rusty Wallace will offer a keynote address during the Welcome Reception. Drawing from his racing experiences, Wallace focuses on teamwork being pivotal to winning. From the men and women in the crew to the final lap and finish line, Wallace demonstrates that anything is possible through the power of teamwork. Additionally, Michael Martin, CEO of the National Wood Flooring Association, will present a State of the Industry perspective.

On Thursday night, Bona will host the Women of the BCCP Happy Hour, a gathering of business owners, sales and marketing professionals, technicians and other hardwood flooring specialists who will gather to discuss their unique journeys in the industry.

The Bona Certified Craftsman Program represents a network of trusted hardwood flooring experts who are dedicated to providing excellent craftsmanship and customer service. These professionals are trained and certified by Bona to use the complete Bona System. As a benefit of this program, the Bona Certified Craftsman Convention inspires craftsmen to grow their businesses and expand their skill sets in hardwood floor finishing.
