Contributions to NWFA Scholarship in Honor of the Late Don Conner Reach Named Scholarship Fund Level

Contributions to a National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Scholarship in memory of James Donald “Don” Conner, Jr., have reached the $20,000 level needed to establish a Named Scholarship Fund.

Conner was a well-known and highly regarded member of the hardwood flooring industry who passed away in October 2022.

“We asked the wood flooring industry to assist us in helping Don reach the Named Scholarship level, and they quickly responded,” says Pat Oakley, president of Mullican Flooring. “We are grateful for their support for this cause and so pleased to see that Don now has a scholarship at this level.

“This scholarship not only permanently honors Don for his significant and lasting contributions to the industry, it also creates opportunities for supporting future generations of wood flooring professionals, which was very important to him. We look forward to seeing its impact on our industry by providing scholarships for additional wood flooring education.”
