Gemini Coatings, a 100 percent employee-owned wood coatings manufacturing company, has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Rudd Company, Inc., an independently owned wood coatings manufacturer based in Seattle, Washington.

Gemini Coatings has been a wood coatings manufacturer for nearly 60 years, with a focus on interior and exterior coatings for professional wood finishers, distributors, and consumers. The company says the acquisition of the Rudd® and Glitsa® brands further enforces Gemini’s mission of providing an “Unrivaled Customer Experience” through exceptional service, reliable product quality, advanced coating technology, and trusted technical expertise.
