Mannington Mills announced that it has hired John Hammel as senior director, Wood and Laminate Business. In this role, Hammel will be responsible for leading the product development and marketing execution of those product lines as well as working with executive leadership on long-term strategic initiatives.
The company shared that Hammel has extensive knowledge of the flooring industry and the product categories he will be involved with. Most recently, he was with Shaw Industries as director of category management for Hardwood and Laminate.
