NWFA Hosts Intermediate Installation Course August 11-13 at NWFA HQ

Join the NWFA for a three-day Intermediate Installation course next month on August 11-13 at NWFA Headquarters in Chesterfield, MO.

This course covers job site preparation, layout, moisture testing, choosing and using the proper tools for the job, and an analysis of the different types of wood flooring and the methods to install each of them. This level of training includes board repair and replacement, adding simple design elements such as borders and patterns, and retrofitting existing floors.

Prerequisite: One year of installation experience OR attendance at Basic Installation or Principles of Wood Flooring training. Plus, completion of the NWFA University Installation Safety course.

Receive 24 continuing certification units upon completion. Completion of this course qualifies the attendee for the Advanced Installation course. Completion of this course along with the Intermediate Sand & Finish course qualifies the attendee for the Master Craftsman course, and the Inspector school.Ā
