Horizon Forest Products will offer complimentary training on Basic Coatings new water-based product HyperTone™ Stains. Two training sessions will be held on June 27, 2019 with the first beginning at 8:00 am and the second beginning at 4:00 pm at the Horizon Forest Products Branch located at 10549 Tucker Street, Beltsville, MD 20705. Refreshments will be provided for all attendees and attendees will have the option to become Certified Contractors listed on Basic Coatings Website.
This training will give hardwood floor contractors the chance to work directly with Basic Coatings HyperTone™ stain. Attendees will learn how to properly apply stain, deal with water pop and grain raise, and apply finish over stain to achieve dramatic colors. Additional items such as how to repair stain issues will also be covered.
“We are always excited to have the opportunity to provide training and education to our customers,” says Ed Shaffer, Beltsville Branch Manager of Horizon Forest Products. “Trainings like these are extremely valuable to our customers as they learn how to use the newest products and technology on the market today. The Basic Coatings new HyperTone Stain promises to make a big impact in the health, safety, and environmental concerns involved in the floor staining process while also delivering incredible results in color variation. We are looking forward to showing the benefits of this new product to our customers during our Demo Day at the end of this month!”
