Graf Brothers Flooring Changes Product Mix; Appalachian Wood Floors Rebrands as Graf Custom Hardwood Floors

Graf Brothers Flooring (GBF) announced that effective immediately, the company will no longer be offering engineered, herringbone, chevron, or any other specialty flooring items. This will allow GBF to concentrate on growing its production of rift and quartered white oak lumber and solid flooring.

Appalachian Wood Floors (AWF) announced that the company will be newly branded as Graf Custom Hardwood Floors and will manufacture engineered, herringbone, chevron, pre-finished, and its own line of solid flooring.

Over the last 16 years, GBF has been owned and operated by Dave and Greg Graf in South Shore, Kentucky. Appalachian Wood Floors has been owned and operated by Jim and Andrew Graf in Portsmouth, Ohio. GBF has been using AWF as its primary flooring manufacturer during this period.

“This will allow both companies to grow in a direction that helps support our customer base. During this transition, all existing orders and quotes should be filled without any issues. It is our goal to make this transition as seamless as possible,”Ā  said Laura Mullins, Marketing Manager. “Graf Brothers Flooring and Graf Custom Hardwood look forward to continuing our long-lasting relationship. We will continue to be the leaders in the rift and quarter sawn flooring and custom high-end market.”
