City Floor Supply Teams with the National Wood Floor Association to Host Intermediate Sand and Finish Training

City Floor Supply (CFS) has teamed with the National Wood Floor Association (NWFA) to offer Intermediate Sand and Finish Training  to hardwood flooring contractors. The flooring distributor will host the training workshop at their North American headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania from April 24 through April 26. The Intermediate Sand and Finish course is a three-day training workshop that provides extensive hands-on training for sanding and finishing wood floors. Attendees will sharpen their skills and learn how to properly sand various species, repair and recoat existing floors, and select finishing techniques that will yield top quality results. The art of flattening a floor, minimizing scratch patterns, general equipment maintenance and sanding multiple flooring types, including unfinished, factory finished, engineered and multi-directional flooring will also be addressed.

In order to attend the Intermediate Sand and Finish Training course, hardwood floor contractors must have a minimum of one year of sand & finish experience, or attendance at the Basic Sand & Finish school or Principles of Wood Flooring training, and completion of the NWFA University Sand & Finish safety courses. Upon successful completion of the 3-day Sand and Finish Training, contractors will earn 3 CCUs. NWFACP Certification Testing for Sand & Finish will be offered at City Floor Supply on Friday, March 27 for those that qualify. Intermediate Sand and Finish Training will be held April 24-26 at City Floor Supply located at 555 East Church Road in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Class will be held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. NWFACP Certification Testing for Sand & Finish will be offered at City Floor Supply on Friday, April 27 for those that qualify. Lunch will be served.

The registration fee is $649 for NWFA members or $749 for non-members. NWFACP Certification Testing is $400.
