The deadline to submit your idea for the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Plank Tank contest is tomorrow (Wednesday, January 31).
Members are encouraged to submit an industry-related business idea for their chance at a grand prize valued at more than $15,000.
As a play on ABC’s reality television show, Shark Tank, the NWFA will be hosting our very own Plank Tank at the upcoming Expo in Tampa, FL, April 11-14.
NWFA judges will select three finalists, to be notified mid-February. Finalists will then develop a 3-5 minute presentation to be displayed on the big screen during the Opening Splash production at Expo. This presentation will inform attendees about their business proposition. Over the two days following the production, attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalist via the mobile app. The winner will be announced during the Final Dive production at Expo.
