Providing Support to Industry Colleagues Affected by Hurricane Harvey

In response to inquiries from NWFA members across the United States, asking how they can help those in our industry affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston and beyond, the NWFA is providing these suggestions:

1. NWFA recommends donations to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping flooring industry professionals when medical emergencies arise.  Donate here: https://www.fcif.org/.  WFCA members who need immediate medical expense support should contact the WFCA at https://wfca.org/.
2. Follow needs as they arise in the affected communities, and give directly here:  https://sketch-city.github.io/harvey-needs/
3. Give to one of the many organizations currently working to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to survivors and relief workers:
   The Salvation Army
   United Way Houston
   American Red Cross
   GoFundMe
   Houston Food Bank

Over the coming days, as more is known, and communication is regained with its members, NWFA will waive 2017-18 outstanding dues renewals for NWFA members who have experienced catastrophic impact.
