Meisterwerke announces the introduction of the Lindura engineered hardwood flooring line to the U.S. flooring market.
Lindura utilizes wood powder technology, which is a unique and innovative process that when combined with a real wood top layer creates a floor that provides unmatched strength and durability. The wood powder compound, which is a combination of real wood fibers and minerals, is applied to the top surface of the core board just prior to the pressing of the hardwood top layer. The pressing process, which incorporates heat and pressure, liquefies the wood powder compound which infuses into the pores of the hardwood creating durable, hard wearing engineered floor while maintaining all the natural characteristics and beauty of the wood species.
Lindura is produced in European oak, American walnut and American hickory and in a wide width, long length format. The Lindura Collection has a floor for every style and design choice and comes in both natural species and an array of fashion forward color visuals, and is available in matte UV finishes.
Meister is currently working with some of the leading floor covering distributors in the U.S. and Canada to introduce this next generation of hardwood flooring to the market in the coming months. The initial reaction from distributors has been fantastic, according to Paul Walker, Meister’s North American Manager.

Sure, trends come and go, widths change, engineering can improve, but it is rare when you find a product that has the potential to change the industry.
