DEWALT announces the new 20V MAX* XR® 7-1/4” Circular Saw (DCS570), adding to the growing 20V MAX* System now totaling over 100 products.
The 20V MAX* XR 7-1/4” Circular Saw features a 7-1/4” blade large enough for most common applications as well as an efficient brushless motor that offers power, runtime, and durability. With a 2-9/16” depth of cut capacity, it is ideal for use in a wide variety of professional applications and with common construction materials such as interior & exterior trim materials, plywood, hardwoods, and flooring.
Other features of the 20V MAX* XR 7-1/4” Circular Saw include an electronic brake that helps stops the blade after the trigger is released and a lower guard design that is designed to reduce guard hang-ups, improving performance for bevel cuts and cutting shim. The DCS570 is designed with a bright LED light that helps provide line-of-cut visibility, a bevel capacity up to 57 degrees including stops at 45 degrees and 22.5 degrees, and a durable high grade aluminum base for smooth cuts.
With its long runtime, 7-1/4” cut capacity, and durable brushless motor, this is a versatile cordless circular saw for a variety of construction applications using exterior wood trim, plywood, particleboard, oriented strand board (OSB), and framing lumber. Available where DEWALT products are sold in spring 2017, the saw comes kitted with one 5.0Ah battery (DCS570P1, $259 MSRP) and bare (battery sold separately) (DCS570B, $179 MSRP).
