DEWALT® Introduces BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades

DEWALT® recently announced the launch of new BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades, which are made in the USA with global materials. Featuring an innovative 2 blades in 1 design, users are able to break away the used section of the blade, and then reinsert the unused blade section back into the saw. The BREAKAWAY™ feature allows for maximum blade use, without compromising performance.

BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades come in two lengths, 6” (DWABK461418) and 9” (DWABK491418). The 6” blades break into 4” blades, and are ideal for cutting materials up to 1” in diameter. The 9” blades break into 6” blades, and are ideal for cutting materials up to 2” in diameter. At .042” thickness, DEWALT BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades have been designed with a thick kerf for durability. The blades are engineered with a 14/18 TPI (teeth per inch) variable tooth pattern for optimized cuts in a variety of metal cutting applications.

Common applications for DEWALT BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades include cutting galvanized pipe, copper pipe, conduit, metal studs, EMT, and other metals. DEWALT BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades are designed for the user who is tired of throwing away half-used blades. Available in spring 2017 where DEWALT products are sold, the BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades solve the common frustration wasting blades.

  1. Great article review for DeWalt reciprocating saw blade. Is any mutual blade in an exceeding hand handle attending to identical to a little Fiskars folding saw? I need a small blade for breaking down branches I already cut down.
