More than 200 Bona Certified Craftsmen Meet in Denver for BCC Convention

Wood flooring professionals from around the world gathered in early February for three days of professional and technical training, hands-on demonstrations, and networking at the Bona Certified Craftsman (BCC) Convention in Denver.

dt2b7662The event kicked off with a welcome reception and dinner that featured Brian Billick, former National Football League coach, and commentator. Billick spent nine seasons as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens from Jan. 19, 1999, to Dec. 31, 2007; he led the Ravens to a 34ā€“7 victory over the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV, the franchiseā€™s first Super Bowl appearance. He was also the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings (1994ā€“1998) when they broke the scoring record in the 1998 season.

dt2b8810Attendees enjoyed seminars on a wide array of topics designed to enhance wood flooring professionalsā€™ business acumen including how to limit liability with proper job site preparation and testing; upselling and cross-selling; brand differentiation; and using social media effectively. Technical product workshops followed by ā€œDemos on Demandā€ provided a unique opportunity to not only learn about new products but try them out as well. The event was rounded out by a trade show specifically designed for Bona Certified Craftsmen.

ā€œWe received so much positive feedback from the convention,” shared Matt Casey, BCCP Manager, Bona US. “Members agreed that furthering their industry education and adapting to consumer trends are keys to growing their business, all of which they were able to take away from the BCC Convention.ā€

Attendees also had the exclusive opportunity to preview Bonaā€™s newest product the Bona Atomic Van, which features an innovative concept of a van-mounted Bona Atomic Dust Containment Systems.
