Canadian manufacturer Lauzon® announced recently that Pure Genius, a new air purifying smart hardwood floor has been recognize by NAHB, IIDEXCanada and Domotex.
- Best of IBS Awards: During the 2015 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named Pure Genius the Best Green Building Product in its third annual Best of IBS Awards. Awards were given to exhibitors with a product or line that shows the best combination of design, functionality and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and/or home builders.
- Bronze Innovation Awards: During the IIDEXCanada Pure Genius won the Bronze Innovation Awards in the Flooring category. The awards were established in 1984 by Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) and Informa Canada to celebrate the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers within the fields of design and architecture, and recognize outstanding achievement in new product design for the built environment.
- Innovations@DOMOTEX: An independent jury has selected Pure Genius technology as an outstanding innovation, to be showcased in one of three specially designed areas of Innovations@DOMOTEX.

Pure Genius technology allows natural or artificial light to activate the titanium dioxide particles in the finish and transform them into an air-purifying agent. Pure Genius claims to make the air in a home up to 85% purer.
