Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in all phases of gym floor refinishing.
Manage a crew technicians, providing direction, support, and training as needed. - Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and materials while adhering to safety standards and Hillyard best practices.
- Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring that floors meet company standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of projects timelines, crew hours, and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used in the finishing process.
Qualifications Include:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree in Management or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience with Gym floor finishing or related field.
- Proven experience in gym floor finishing or a related field, with a solid understanding for the refinishing process.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to operate floor machines, automatic scrubbers, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
- Exceptional communication, problem solving, and empathy skills to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
Physically capable of performing hands-on work, including lifting and operating heavy machinery. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
