CLIMIT Introduces DataPUCK Sensor

CLIMIT (Floorcloud) is launching DataPUCK, a new data logging sensor designed to record temperature and humidity conditions on jobsites for up to two years. The company says all too often the construction industry sees installations experience problems weeks and months after projects have been completed, most commonly due to internal building controls being turned off. According to CLIMIT, DataPUCK now makes it possible to capture long-term ambient conditions during and after installation, providing the documentation needed to protect contractors throughout their entire warranty period.

ā€œWhat makes the DataPUCK an effective solution is how easily it connects the dots, logging conditions, aligning with manufacturer specs, and turning raw data into clear, defensible reporting,ā€ says Patrick Mullins, co-founder and COO at CLIMIT. ā€œYou get meaningful insight you can actually use to protect your business when things beyond your control cause problems.ā€

The integration with the CLIMIT Specification Database, enables users to monitor and compare logged conditions directly against product-specific temperature and humidity tolerances set by manufacturers.

ā€œThe DataPUCK is more than just a traditional data logger, it’s built to work seamlessly with the CLIMIT spec database to provide the detailed reporting contractors demand.ā€ said Scott Banda, co-founder and CEO at CLIMIT. ā€œEach of our technology solutions are designed to help avoid jobsite problems and easily access reportable data on every installation.ā€
