Arboritec USA has promoted Tom Ruekert to President/CEO of the company’s North American operation.
“With more than 15 years of management experience in distribution, manufacturing, importing, international business and consulting within the flooring industry, I am confident that by collaborating with the U.S. team, our international team lead by Elin Grytfors, and our amazing customers, we can elevate Arboritec to new heights,” says Ruekert.
Lindsey Thommesen has been promoted to head of the marketing for the North American team. She has been working closely with the team in Sweden to launch the company’s new website and will be working strategically with customers throughout North America to continue to strengthenourbrand.
Gavin Cain has been hired as the newest technical representative. He has nearly 10 years of field experience. Cain is heavily supporting the company’s current distributor and contractor customers all over North America as well as volunteering his time at many NWFA sand and finish schools.
Ethan Erickson has rejoined the North American team in a more strategic capacity to assist with product development efforts. Erickson spends much of his time behind the scenes with Arboritec’s team of chemists in Sweden.
Arboritec is also rebranding some products. Genuine 5 and Genuine Naked will be relabeled as Avenue 5 and Avenue Naked. The UV cured product will now be Elevate Light.
Arboritec will be at booth #1727 at the NWFA Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina, April 15-17. Elin Grytfors, International CEO from Sweden will be there with the rest of the North American team. The company will showcase Miracle Oil and waterborne finishes in a newly designed booth, featuring engineered flooring from Peachey Hardwoods.
