Stiles Machinery hosted a Manufacturing Solutions Seminar in High Point, North Carolina, on November 13 and 14. The biannual event brings together woodworking manufacturers, business owners, and industry professionals from across North America to participate in live machinery demonstrations, engaging presentations and interactive breakout sessions.
Held at Stiles’ showroom, the company says the seminar allowed attendees to explore the latest trends, technologies, and strategies shaping the woodworking industry. The event featured sessions covering topics such as compact manufacturing, nested machining flexibility, and automated finishing, along with discussions on modernizing solid wood manufacturing and scalable automation solutions.
āI came to learn more about the new technologies out on the market, and everyone’s ability to give answers to our questions has just been absolutely delightful,ā said Ron Harrigan, managing partner at SIPS Resource Group, who attended the show for the first time this year. āSeeing all the equipment laid out in an order in which it could run helped us focus on it and evaluate it. Weāre happy we were invited, and weāll be back again.ā
Thomas Allott, director of talent development at Stiles Machinery, reflected on the seminar, stating, āEach MSS brings with it its own dynamic energy and focus. One thing I love about this industry is the passion everyone has for evolving and growing, and how dedicated they are to their craft. Itās a privilege to connect with such an engaged and experienced group of professionals while exploring the solutions, technology and innovations that will lead the industry into the future.”
