Taylor Murphy has been named the newly appointed vice president of operations at Footprints Floors.
Murphy graduated from the University of Denver in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in accounting and my Master of Accountancy. After graduating, Murphy went to work at KPMG, where his work included comprehensive business process audits and financial statement audits. After KPMG, Murphy moved to Armanino, a top 25 accounting firm. He then joined Strike and later was with Applied Digital.
As vice president of operations, Murphy collaborates with other leadership team members, and his responsibilities encompass refining existing processes, supporting the managed services and franchise support teams, and executing new initiatives. His goal is to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and support franchisees to succeed.
Murphy is focused on investing in technology to enhance operations at Footprints Floors. His efforts include improving data architecture, integrating systems and ensuring seamless communication between various tools and platforms. āWe are working on bringing all the systems that Footprints has and getting them to start talking to each other, making everything more efficient,ā he said. By modernizing the home services business, Murphy says he aims to set Footprints Floors apart in the industry, providing franchisees with the best tools and resources to succeed.
Footprints Floors is a national flooring installation franchise with more than 150 territories. Bryan Park, CEO and founder of Footprints Floors, launched the Colorado-based company in 2008.
