iQ Power Tools, manufacturer of power tools with integrated dust collection systems, has donated products to the North Carolina-based 501(c)(3) organization, Hope Renovations.
Established in 2020, Hope Renovations is a one-of-a-kind non-profit entity, aiding underemployed women to pursue living-wage jobs in the construction trades. Additionally, Hope Renovations also provides repairs and renovations allowing older adults to stay in their homes as they age. Trainees gain hands-on practice in the trades by assisting with aging-in-place remodeling and repairs alongside experienced construction crews.
āOur firm has taken great strides to support education programs within the construction industry,ā said Jim Mackall, president of iQ Power Tools. āā¦ we believe that investing in these trades is not only an investment for our organization… but also, one for the communities in which these organizations serve.”
“Teaching is imperative to our industry as a whole. If we can help offset some of the costs for these organizations, communities and students, it becomes a win-win for everyone,ā concluded Mackall. “iQ Power Tools recognizes that students who work with innovative, safe, and efficient tools during their studies, will be motivated to demand these very same products during their forthcoming careers.”
Hope Renovations received saws and an iQ426 HEPA Cyclonic Dust Extractor from iQ Power Tools.
