Kenmark Interiors, a Dallas-based specialty interior finish-out contractor, has exclusively sourced Välinge Flooring for Texas’ architecture and design market.
Manufactured in Sweden, the product features two patented technologies: Woodura® surface technology is a patented process that hardens real wood and 5G® Dry™, a fold-down installation system.
“Kenmark Interiors is at the forefront of design innovation, and we know our discerning clients are constantly looking for innovative solutions to incorporate into their designs,” says Pamela Kisberg, president of Kenmark Interiors. “Välinge Flooring takes engineered flooring to the next level: its installation is smarter and faster, and the flooring is far more durable. It’s also less expensive than traditional wood flooring – without sacrificing aesthetic.”
Välinge was recently specified for the new headquarters building for Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network in Waco, Texas. “We were thrilled to work with the Magnolia Network’s design team to specify the flooring for the network’s new headquarters,” explains Kisberg. “Joanna Gaines is a widely acclaimed designer who, like Välinge Flooring, is truly in a league of her own. The use of Välinge Flooring for her own personal project speaks volumes to the quality of this state-of-the-art, sustainable product.”
Kenmark Interiors says sustainability is top-of-mind for the company, as well as many designers.
“Sustainability and product transparency are at the forefront of the flooring solutions we provide,” continues Kisberg. “We are proud to exclusively offer this 100 percent real-wood, sustainable, Greenguard Gold product that is also FSC certified, and we look forward to continuing to be part of renowned, sustainable projects in Texas and throughout the United States for many years to come.”
