Playing Pirate

My thanks to everyone for all their good wishes received below and by email.  The surgery apparently went extremely well.  My recovery is expected to be both less stressful/painful and faster than previously anticipated plus the doctor is cautiously optimistic about an even better outcome than originally expected.  Further because my condition was so weird, he’s apparently getting a paper out of it!  My pirate days were surprisingly brief–I’m doing so well, I don’t even need a patch any more.

That said, I’m still on light typing, so no more immediate blogs, but I did want to put out positive news.  Oh and to take a moment to encourage everyone to go sign up for the IWPA Due Care classes—the 2020 schedule has just been posted.  We’ll be doing a week in February in Nashville and then more in Atlanta at the IWF.  Classes include the original due care training, an updated forestry/supply chain mapping class and a brand new class on FER—Formaldehyde Emission Regulations.  For more info go to:  https://www.iwpawood.org/page/DueDiligenceTrain and sign up now.

Thank you all and back either as something really special comes up or when the screen is less jumbled…
