PlyQuet of America, the exclusive US sales office for TEKA Hardwood Flooring is looking for a strong outside sales representative for CT, RI, MA, NH, VT and ME.
TEKA Hardwood Flooring is one of the largest manufacturers in the wood industry targeting mostly US distributors as well as retailers in certain states.
With a selected product line stocked in two US warehouses we are able to serve smaller distributors or larger retailers.
Job Duties
- Find new customers, especially larger distributors in the East Coast territory for monthly direct container supply
- Find new customers for our US warehoused flooring lines in the East Coast territory
- Travel the above states for new and existing customers
- Follows-up with customers on all communications and inquiries timely and professionally from placing the orders until collections.
- Assisting clients with technical issues.
Position Requirements:
- Extensive wood flooring knowledge
- Self driven motivation with a strong drive and desire to succeed
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Outgoing personality
- Proficient with computers/internet
- Strong negotiation skills with corporate and retail clients
Compensation:
- Paid sales and product training
- Paid travel expense and car allowance
- Base + Commission
