Tesoro Woods Honors Founder’s Passing

Employees, family, and friends gathered to honor Tesoro Woods’ founder William “Jop” Jopling on the two year mark of his passing. The team celebrated with a luncheon where they shared their stories, photos and memories. Jop passed away on November 1, 2016, and is survived by his three children Zoey, Matt and Trevor.

The company shared that, “Throughout his life, Jop was a serial entrepreneur, producing impeccably milled engineered wood flooring in exotic species at his very first company in 1998. He introduced many exotic species to the US market after traveling the world to source material and establish flooring mills and factories. Jop also developed the use of backer boards for veneers and square edge and end milling.”
