Southern Hardwood & Floor Supply recently announced the passing of Tim Cates, one of the company’s founders.
“As we all know Tim was one of a kind. His smile and contagious cheer lit up every room that he entered. He considered all of his customers and employees to be his friends and made us all feel like family,” the company shared via Facebook. “Southern Hardwood would not be the company it is today without his passion for life and helping people to be their very best. Tim truly was ‘the floorman’s best friend’ and will be dearly missed by us all.”
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Memorial donations may be made to Beyond Boundaries RVA, the McShin Foundation, or Connor’s Heroes.
