The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recently announced its revised Craftsman and Master Craftsman Certification programs are now available.
The new designations have replaced the original “degree” program for several reasons, including validation of skillset and providing opportunity for Certified Professionals to distinguish themselves as the industry’s elite tradesmen/women.
“The revised program focuses on seven specific skillsets each professional must achieve to earn their Master Craftsman Certification,” says Brett Miller, NWFA Vice President of Education and Certification.
The application process is very user-friendly and will be completed through NWFA University. Each applicant will also receive a Field Guide to assist them in pursuing these certifications.
More information about the program and instructions on how to apply can be found at nwfa.org/craftsman.aspx.
