QFloors’ founders and customers enjoyed the impressive vistas of Alaskan scenery while also looking to the future, during the technology company’s 25th Anniversary Users Conference. The group sailed August 16 – 23 on Holland America’s Koningsdam, on a seven-day Alaskan cruise.
“We wanted to do something special to mark our 25th year in business,” explained Chad Ogden, founder of QFloors. “While we already knew the incredible value of meeting and collaborating together, we wanted this conference to be uniquely memorable. And customers are telling us that we achieved that.”
The conference provided an opportunity for customers to learn more about new and upcoming development, and to weigh in on future direction. Pawel Rajszel, CEO of Leap Tools, (dba Roomvo), which acquired QFloors in January 2025, began the conference leading the group in discussion about future goals and technology. He reminded everyone that “Dealers are the lifeblood of the industry,” and “We don’t come up with technology simply for the sake of it. It needs to drive real results, be easy to use, affordable, and supported.”
During the opening session, Roomvo and QFloors unveiled new releases and touched upon their entire combined product suite, which includes a wide range of online, in store, and back office services and technologies.
Rajszel explained, “Our vision for you, our customers, is one unified system, where changes are reflected everywhere with the data. You’ll have full mobility, where anyone can work from anywhere, using any device, and everything is synchronized. AI will make things even more efficient, and the technology can help you sell entire rooms with visualization fully built in.”
Rajszel and Ogden also announced the release of QFloors on a new Roomvo platform, QFloors version 10, which the company is calling “QFX.” Ogden highlighted benefits QFX will bring users, such as faster dropdowns, advanced searching and scrolling features, auto sales tax calculations, a new integrated e-signature tool, auto address completion, and much more.
Additional group discussion focused on several topics, including Roomvo-integrated websites, QPro Accounting and how it relates to QFX, and QTagger’s electronic showroom tagging integration. QFloors also announced the unification of its ACH and credit card processing services, which will streamline customer approvals and onboarding.
Ogden confirmed that the company is “hearing from customers consistently that they are saving huge amounts of money, time, and a reduction in accounts receivable by using QPay credit card processing.” Doug McCool, of McCool’s Flooring, said that while he was initially hesitant to switch to QPay because he had a great rate with his former processing company, agreed. “I wish we would have done it sooner. I love QPay. Now not only do I get a good rate, but I get all of these other awesome features, like customers being able to pay electronically. For example, I love being on this cruise and hearing my phone notifications telling me that a new payment just came in.”
Training meetings were held throughout the seven-day cruise, sandwiched between exploration at the various ports. The Alaskan cruise included time spent at Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan, and Vancouver.
