Horizon Forest Products announced that Larry Lemons joined the Raleigh Corporate Branch as Fleet Manager on May 17, 2021.
The company shared that Lemons brings over 25 years of fleet industry experience with him, including his time at Southeast Connection LLC. He became a master certified mechanic in automotive and heavy equipment in 2003, and has held a fleet management position for the last 11 years.
“As Horizon Forest Products continues to grow each year our needs for new positions grow as well. One of those needs was to hire a fleet manager for our ever-growing list of vehicles. This included servicing, recalls, license plate renewals, and ensuring we were paying properly for repairs and contracts,” says JD Ziegelhofer, Divisional Leader for Horizon Forest Products. “To our surprise we found Larry who came to us with years of experience in fleet management. What a joy to have someone right out of the gate with all the necessary tools and knowledge. We are excited to have Larry and all he brings to our company.”
